Semester Planning Meeting 1

Offices
We are not going to elect President, Secretary, and Treasurer the traditional way because we do not have time. This semester all offices are only 1 semester terms due to lack of interest in positions by underclassmen. Vice President is still open because no one at this meeting wants to be Vice President.

Vice President: (Open. We are going to offer it to Courtney, Sam, Tori, and Jeannette.If they do not accept, then Laura will delegate the responsibilities to the LT.)

We have a lot of international students sign up for the club at InfoShares, but how can we get them to come to the meetings?

MLK Day
We earned a $500 grant for OMK Packs, but the OMK people do not need any packs.
They need us to host events. We can’t spend our grant on that.
In the future we will check with the OMK people before we write a grant proposal to make the packs.
Alternate Event: 2-4PM Redbud Hills
Volunteer to help with Wheelchair Races
Holly is one of the organizers for this Read event. We may join this event as a club.

The Next LT Meeting
We need to schedule it for this weekend!
Scheduling Conflicts:

• Jacob has to work this weekend. Would be willing to meet on Friday.
• Jennifer has a floor leadership orientation on Sunday from 1PM to 5PM.
• Laura has to work this weekend.

Alternatives to meeting: Skype, Conference Call. (Jennifer’s computer is dead, so she has to use either campus computers or go to someone on the LT’s place.)
We will finish planning this meeting via FB message.

Student Involvement Fair
The Student Involvement Fair will take place on 1/16. We are not signed up.
It is too late to sign up, the deadline was 12/7.
